Sweet Pea is a 5-year-old spayed female Chihuahua who was surrendered by her family with little explanation of her habits or behaviors. Since then, she has spent time in several foster homes, each giving us more insight into who she truly is.

Sweet Pea tends to bond best with men but will also seek out attention from select women she feels comfortable with. She is generally sweet and enjoys affection, but when she feels frightened or overwhelmed, she may air-snap to communicate her fear.

✅ She is:

• Current on vaccinations

• Microchipped

• Potty trained with a routine (but not so rigid that life becomes stressful)

• Good with calm, respectful handling on her terms

Sweet Pea is looking for a very special home that understands her sensitivities and is willing to give her the time, patience, and space she needs to adjust. With a gentle routine, kindness, and the ability to go at her pace, Sweet Pea will bloom into the loving little companion she longs to be.
