🐾 Meet Emmy 🐾

Emmy is a beautiful 2-year-old female Chihuahua mix who is just beginning her journey toward believing that people can be kind. Life hasn’t always been easy for this sweet girl, and while she is safe now, she’s still learning that the world can be a gentle place.

Emmy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Right now, her biggest job isn’t finding a family—it’s finding her confidence. She is very shy and is taking things one tiny step at a time as she learns to trust humans again. Every day brings small victories, and we’re incredibly proud of the progress she’s making.

Because Emmy is still working through her fears, she is not yet available for adoption. She needs the gift of time, patience, and continued positive experiences before she’ll be ready to begin the next chapter of her life.

We know there is a wonderful, loving dog waiting to blossom beneath that timid exterior, and we’ll continue cheering her on every step of the way.
