🐾 Meet Popeye – Coming Soon! 🐾

Popeye is a handsome 1-year-old neutered Chihuahua weighing about 9 pounds. While he’s absolutely adorable, Popeye is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.

This sweet little guy can be frightened by sudden movements, unfamiliar noises, and new situations. Right now, he’s taking things one day at a time as he learns to trust new people and gain confidence. Because of this, Popeye is not quite ready for adoption yet.

Our rescue team is giving Popeye the time, patience, and support he needs to feel comfortable and secure. Every small victory is helping him discover that good things happen when he feels safe.

Popeye has already shown us that beneath his cautious exterior is a gentle soul who simply needs understanding and kindness. As he continues to blossom, we’ll be sharing updates on his progress.

For now, Popeye remains in our care while he works on building confidence. Once he is comfortable and ready to take the next step, we’ll move him to our Available Dogs page and begin searching for his perfect forever home.
