Hi, I’m Diego! I’m a 2–4-year-old Chihuahua boy, weighing 14.5 pounds, with energy to spare! I’m neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. ❤️

My life took an unexpected turn when my owner was incarcerated. I was confiscated and brought to Washoe County, and now I’m learning how to feel safe and trust humans again.

People still leave me a little unsure, so I need someone who will take things slowly and let trust grow at my pace. Gentle introductions, patience, and kindness will help me find my footing. 🐾

I enjoy playing and putting that energy to good use! And when I feel comfortable, I also appreciate a good, cozy cuddle. Playtime and snuggle time? There’s room for both in my day!

I’m looking for a home that will celebrate my little steps forward and give me time to get comfortable.
