💕🐾 MEET LUCY — NOW IT’S HER TURN! 🐾💕

Little Lucy has been through a lot of changes in her short life, but this sweet girl is ready for the next chapter — a family of her very own. ❤️

Lucy is a 2-year-old, spayed Chihuahua weighing approximately 5 pounds. Early in 2026, Lucy lost her home along with some members of her doggie family and was surrendered to the Colusa County Shelter.

And Lucy wasn’t alone — she arrived pregnant.

Soon after, this tiny mama welcomed three beautiful puppies. Lucy lovingly nursed and cared for her babies until they were old enough to begin their own lives. One by one, her puppies found their homes.

💕 Now it’s finally Lucy’s turn. 💕

Lucy is a super sweet, affectionate little girl who loves attention and cuddles. She can be shy when she first meets someone or finds herself in a new situation, so she needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable. Once she does, her sweet personality begins to shine and she relaxes enough to enjoy herself.

She does well with dogs her size or slightly larger and would love a family willing to give her the patience, security and affection she deserves.
