Sweet little Luna has spent much of 2026 taking care of everyone but herself. ❤️

Luna is a 2-year-old, spayed, long-coat Chihuahua weighing only about 5 pounds. Earlier this year, she lost her home along with some members of her doggie family and came to Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows pregnant.

Soon after, Luna welcomed three beautiful puppies. She was a wonderful mama, lovingly nursing and caring for her babies until they were ready to begin lives of their own.

Now all three of her puppies have found their homes…

💕 And finally, it’s Luna’s turn. 💕

Luna is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves attention, cuddles and being close to her people. She does well with dogs around her size or even slightly larger and would love a home where she can finally be the one who is spoiled, cherished and cared for.

She’s raised her babies. She’s watched them move on to their new adventures. Now this tiny mama deserves her own happily-ever-after. 🏡❤️
