💔 Meet Jubal – A Brave Survivor Seeking Love and Safety 💔

Jubal is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Chihuahua with a whoa-ful story to tell. This little warrior was found in an orchard by Colusa Animal Services, bravely fighting off coyotes who were attacking his pups. The momma dog was also fighting to protect them, but tragically, several pups were lost. Only one pup, Zeeko, survived this ordeal.

While Zeeko and momma dog have found their forever homes, Jubal is still waiting for his chance. The trauma of this experience has deeply affected him. He’s a conflicted little soul – wanting to say “hello” and engage with people but often finding it simply too overwhelming.

Despite his fears, Jubal is super sweet once he feels safe enough to allow himself to be pet. He enjoys toys, finds comfort in playtime, and is actually quite the cuddler once he builds trust with his person.

Jubal needs a home with another dog his size to help guide him, show him the ropes, and teach him that people can be kind and loving. He is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, ready to begin his new chapter.
