⚡️ Meet Volt – The Little Clown Who Will Light Up Your Life! ⚡️

Volt is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Chihuahua with an electric personality and playful spirit. While he was somewhat worried during his time in the shelter, once he came to Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows, his true colors began to shine – and he quickly became the clown of the pups!

Volt absolutely loves to play keep-away with his toys. He’ll bring them back for another toss, then zoom off with a grin as if to say, “Catch me if you can!” 🎾 His joyful energy is infectious and will keep you laughing every day.

While Volt is very friendly, he does seem to be somewhat untrusting of males. However, with food motivation and positive reinforcement, he will likely overcome this hesitation in time. In the shelter, he allowed staff to put on and remove his little jacket and loved sitting in their laps while they worked in the office.

Volt will also happily sit in his foster parent’s lap when he’s had enough playtime – he just needs people who respect his signals and give him space when he says he’s had enough.
