Meet Mateo (and Tinkerbell!)

Mateo is an adorable 8-year-old neutered male Yorkie who was surrendered to rescue alongside his lifelong companion and sister, Tinkerbell. These two have been together since birth and were adopted as tiny 6-week-old pups. Sadly, after spending their whole lives in one home, they were recently surrendered and are now navigating a whole new world.

Understandably, Mateo and Tinkerbell are still learning to trust again. They’re a bonded pair with a deep connection, and their journey back to feeling safe and loved is one they must take together. Mateo is already showing small glimpses of his sweet nature and just needs the right person to help remind him that people can be kind, patient, and gentle.

Mateo is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations—just like Tinkerbell. They are a package deal, so if you’re not ready for double the love (and double the healing), please pass them by. But if your heart has room for two dogs who truly need a second chance, Mateo and Tinkerbell might just be the perfect pair for you.
