Lydia is a beautiful 4-year-old spayed female Chihuahua-Spaniel mix with the softest fur you can imagine—and an even softer heart. She came to us from Washoe County Regional Animal Services However, two puppies were rescued by another group. Understandably, Lydia was terrified in the shelter environment, but Chihuahua Rescue stepped in to give her a second chance.

Since arriving, Lydia has settled in nicely and is slowly learning to trust humans again. Her gentle spirit shines through, and while she may be shy at first, with a little time and patience, her affectionate side begins to emerge. She’s the kind of companion who will quietly curl up beside you and melt into your arms.
