Imagine spending 12 years with your person, knowing your home, your routine and where you belong…and then suddenly everything changes.
That’s Buddy’s story. 💔
Buddy is a 12-year-old, neutered male Chihuahua whose beloved family member passed away from blood cancer. Now, after an entire lifetime of having someone to call his own, Buddy finds himself starting over.
What does this SUPER SENIOR want from his next chapter?
Honestly, not very much.
He wants someone to hang out with.
A comfortable couch.
A soft blanket.
A nice walk.
And most importantly…a lap where he can snuggle and know he belongs again. ❤️
Buddy’s foster says he is super easygoing, incredibly sweet and soft. He walks beautifully on leash and sleeps through the night, happily curling up on the couch with a cozy blanket.
He is also doing well with his potty habits. Buddy goes outside; his person simply needs to make sure this senior gentleman is given regular opportunities to go out.

Buddy has already experienced one of the hardest things an older dog can face — losing the person who was his world.
We can’t give him those 12 years back.
But perhaps someone special can make sure that the rest of Buddy’s years are filled with everything a senior dog deserves: soft blankets, gentle walks, warm laps, quiet companionship and the security of knowing he belongs. 🥹❤️
