🩺 Meet Doc – The Little Healer Learning to Trust Again 💛

At just 1½ years old, Doc is a small Chihuahua mix with a big story. Life hasn’t always been kind to him—when someone tossed a slip lead his way, he didn’t understand what was happening and got scared, so he growled. Can you blame him?

Thankfully, Doc has been given another chance. After a few rough foster experiences, he’s now safe with Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows, where he’s getting the time, patience, and gentle understanding he’s always needed.

Doc is a happy boy at heart—his tail wags, his eyes sparkle—but he’s still worried about new people. He’s not sure yet how humans will treat him, so he likes to keep a little distance until he feels safe. The good news? He loves treats and is learning that kindness and snacks often go hand in paw! 🐾

Doc’s journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to watch him bloom into the confident, loving dog he’s meant to be. With time and trust, this little healer will surely mend hearts—including his own. 💙
