Say hello to Butch, a 7-month-old, 11-pound, neutered male who is fully vaccinated and microchipped—and very ready to start his next chapter. 💙

Butch’s journey began when he was found lost and wandering the streets of Washoe County. The shelter was a scary place for this young pup, and at first he was so frightened that he tried to disappear into the background, hoping no one would notice him. But Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows knew better—we saw a gentle soul who just needed safety and kindness.

Once out of the shelter, Butch blossomed exactly as we hoped. 🌱

He’s now a friendly, happy, and affectionate young dog who simply wants to be loved. While we’re still getting to know all his quirks and preferences (he was only pulled in December), one thing is crystal clear: Butch is ready for a home of his own.

With his handsome looks, soft coat, and sweet personality, Butch is the kind of pup who will melt right into your heart—and your lap.
