At just 1 year old and weighing 8 pounds, Talita—affectionately known as “Little Girl”—is pure velvet, inside and out. This spayed Chihuahua mix has the softest black coat and an even softer soul.

Talita’s had some rough days in her past and is still learning that humans can be kind and gentle. With patience and love, she’s beginning to greet her foster mom and trust again—one little tail wag at a time. She adores the company of her doggy friends and takes comfort in their presence.

Talita will need a home with another small dog companion to help her feel safe and confident. She’s current on vaccinations and microchipped, and she’s waiting for that special person who can see the beauty in quiet progress and celebrate every brave step forward.
