This handsome, approximately 18-month-old Chihuahua mix weighs about 16 pounds and has already proven just how resilient and joyful life can be. After finding his way to Washoe County Regional Animal Services, Magic came to Chihuahua Rescue Truckee Meadows in need of an amputation. Today, he’s healed beautifully and is ready to begin the next chapter of his life—with a family to call his own.

If you’re wondering whether being a tripod slows him down… think again! Magic races around, plays, explores, and enjoys life with enthusiasm. He doesn’t dwell on having three legs, and neither should you. His spirit is bigger than any challenge he’s faced.

Magic is a fun-loving, energetic young dog who is always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s going for walks, playing with toys, or simply spending time with his people, he approaches every day with happiness and optimism. His cheerful personality is truly contagious.

He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find a forever family that will love him just as much as he loves life.

Magic isn’t looking for someone to feel sorry for him—he’s looking for someone to laugh with him, play with him, and share all of life’s adventures. In return, he’ll show you that sometimes the greatest strength comes in the smallest packages.
