At 13 years old, Clove never imagined he’d be looking for a new family.
This sweet Chihuahua mix spent all 13 years of his life in the same home, loved by the same person. Sadly, when his owner began experiencing health problems and could no longer care for him, Clove’s whole world changed.
Suddenly, this little senior boy found himself in a shelter, surrounded by unfamiliar people, sounds and routines. Understandably, Clove was frightened and needed a little extra reassurance. He especially appreciated being spoken to before his leash was attached so he knew what was happening and wasn’t startled.
But underneath that uncertainty is a wonderful little dog just waiting to feel safe again. ❤️
Clove is cuddly, friendly and playful, and at 13, he still has plenty of personality and love to share. What he needs now isn’t complicated: a gentle person, a comfortable bed, loving arms and the security of knowing that this time, he’s home for good.
