Mickey is an 8-year-old long coat Chihuahua with a story to tell. Found running alone in a field, scared and uncertain, he didn’t know who to trust. At the shelter, the stress was overwhelming — he shied away from visitors and was sadly overlooked. 💔

But once out of the shelter, Mickey began to slowly come out of his shell. He’s still cautious with strangers and learning what it feels like to trust again, but with patience and kindness, he’s showing glimpses of the sweet dog he is meant to be. 🐾
